Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam 2018| Exam date and pattern for Tier 1 and tier 2

In this post I would like to discuss with you about the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam 2018. Combined Graduate Level exam is a prestigious examination conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Because of its importance and popularity, it is known as the ” Mini civil Service exam”.
SSC conducts CGL exam every year to recruit the eligible persons in to various offices under central Govt. The exam is conducted online.There are mainly two stages for CGL. Tier I and Tier II. This year the Tier I exams of CGL 2018 will be from 25th July to 5th August.
Exam pattern of CGL 2018
for the Tier I exam there are four sections each of which contain 25 questions carrying 2 marks. Thus a total of 100 questions and 200 marks in total. There will be negative marks for each wrong answer. The duration of exam is 60 minutes (1 hour). for VH/OH candidates 80 minutes will be given.
